Claiming Eden (Eden #3) by Kele Moon

Fiercely loyal, Danny will do anything for his best friend and lover Paul. Yet when he turns to beautiful Mistress Circe for training to be a Pro-Dom Danny is forced to learn how deep his love for Paul really goes. In order to train with her Circe expects Danny to do the one thing he hates above all others...submit.
Reader Advisory: This story visits the dark side of BDSM, where the only thing more intense than the scenes the characters participate in, is the love they have for one another.

This is the third book in the Eden series and I have loved them all. The main characters in all three are Danny and Paul, but this one really delves deep into their relationship, both as friends and lovers. It is another dark story but extremely erotic; it's full of emotion and you will feel both the boys pain as they struggle to find a way to live the way they need and want to.
Danny is so protective of his friends and we see how far he will go for them. The story starts with him helping Melissa and Denise and it's lovely watching the friendship between the four of them develop.
Although we had met the boys parents in the previous books , in this one we are given more insight into both families and how they have affected their lives.
We meet Jason again and learn a lot more about him. We also discover the Domme he wants to train Danny so he can safely be everything Paul needs him to be. Many of the funny scenes involve Jason as the boys love teasing him but also we see Danny realise Jason is trying to help them and not take Paul away from him. Danny is prepared to do anything to keep Paul safe especially as we already know the problems Paul has got himself into before and this is forever in Danny's thoughts. Danny not a natural Dom or sure about the BDSM lifestyle and the internal battle he fights is fascinating but emotional as he realises it is the only way he'll be with Paul.
The author cleverly takes us through all Paul's angst over his situation and it was so sweet reading about Paul accepting his feelings for Danny.
The interactions between Circe and Danny are informative, profound but also hilarious at times. Danny's answers to some of her questions are hysterical and were a nice interlude to the deeper issues being addressed. She is very perceptive but does understand his position. My heart went out to him when he succumbs to the knowledge of what he is going to have to go through because of Paul's need for pain.
There is so much more to Circe, Jason and the boys that I really hope we get another book because the epilogue leaves the story very open and there are plenty of years to cover before Beyond Eden starts.
This series must be read in order and although some people suggest a different reading order, I think the order they are written in is the best. It helps you learn about the characters first, fall in love with them, feel their pain and heartbreak . Then the next two books helps the reader understand why things happened and what the boys went through.
I highly recommend the book as it is well written and quickly draws you back into the characters lives. It is an intense and intriguing continuation of a story which although tragic in some ways, it is ultimately a love story.

About the Author:
A freckle-faced redhead born and raised in Hawaii, Kele Moon has always been a bit of a sore thumb and has come to enjoy the novelty of it. She thrives on pushing the envelope and finding ways to make the impossible work in her story telling. With a mad passion for romance, she adores the art of falling in love. The only rules she believes in is that, in love, there are no rules and true love knows no bounds.
So obsessed is she with the beauty of romance and the novelty of creating it, she’s lost in her own wonder world most of the time. Thankfully she married her own dark, handsome, brooding hero who has infinite patience for her airy ways and attempts to keep her grounded. When she leaves her keys in the refrigerator or her cell phone in the oven, he’s usually there to save her from herself. The two of them now reside in Florida with their three beautiful children, who make their lives both fun and challenging in equal parts—they wouldn’t have it any other way.
